Hi John,

I believe Fred may have clicked on the "bidder" line by mistake. That booklet
you just acquired is great. I have one. It really gives a person the feel of how
important mass transit was during the days when many big city dwellers had to
rely on streetcars. A number of cities used to list hospitals, government
buildings, churches, schools, playgrounds, parks, fire stations and police
stations by route numbers serving those locations. Some cities listed these
destinations on maps. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Pittsburgh Railways
did this on their maps during later years. I know for a fact that Philadelphia,
Milwaukee and Washington, DC did.  Ken J.
