You didn't notice the lack of an ad at the end of every message here? ;-)

Seriously, I own my equipment and I host my own lists; This is partly at 
the whim of my employrs since my computer is in their machine room, but if 
it were ever a problem, I'm sure I could get a job elsewhere where I could 
actually then afford a reasonable network in my own house to run it on. 
Aside from some minor angst I expect in the future when I move the list 
onto a different machine instead of the 9 year old one running it now, 
things should be stable, if somewhat boring, here for some time to come.
