Greetings!
A Word About P.E.R.C.
"Some five years ago [1945] a group of Electric Rail Fans from the
Pittsburgh District founded an independent organization calling
themselves the 'Pittsburgh Electric Railway Club.' We meet once each
month at the Downtown Y.M.C.A. Our meeting nights change from time to
time. Visitors are always welcome."
"Our programs include Fan Trips, an annual model (trolley) exhibition,
picture exchanges, movie and slide shows, and occasionally we have a
talk by an expert on various phases of electrical railroading. We are
independent and unaffiliated but we cooperate with and support and all
other recognized Fan Groups. Our present officers are:"
"Mr. Harry C. Bartley, President"
"Mr. Robert H. Brown, VP & Trip Conductor"
"Mr. C. E. England, Secretary"
P.E.R.C. *Trolley Fare*, Bulletin #1, First Quarter 1950.
