Greetings!
PERC PRCo Fan Trip
"Colorful car 1461, painted 'COUNTY FAIR' will be used.
Normally used only on the short 22-Crosstown line, it will be a rare
pleasure to use one of these gaily-colored cars on BOTH INTERURBAN
LINES, plus city routes 10, 13, 15, 18, 19, 38, 38A, 42, 44, 47, and
53. Lots of private right-of-way, high trestles, single track, and new
cross-over track-work at Shannon and West View. And we'll try a left
turn again at 18th and Sarah where (on a previous expedition) we
derailed 3487. Trip will leave Manchester barn (take rt. 18 or 19
cars) at 8.30-AM EDT. Lunch stop in Allentown. Trip will last about
9-hours. Fare $4.00 on the car. Free transfers and ozone.'
