PERC   Club   Status

"IT    HAS    BECOME    EVIDENT---and essential---that Pittsburgh
Electric Railway Club must take immediate steps to change its status, so
that the organization will conform to the Internal Revenue Code.  
Previous studies revealed that several organizational changes should be
made.   So, these along with changes necessary to conform to the IRS
Code, will require twenty amendments to the constitution and a probable
change in the name of the organization.   Unfortunately, we don't have
much time to make the necessary changes )probable deadline of August 1),
so the first of two required readings of the resolutions must be given
at the June 9 meeting.   It is, therefore, vitally essential that each
member of the organization be at this meeting to hear the reading, enter
into the discussion, and become informed on this very important moment
in the club's organization."
