"EXTENSIVE    NEW   temporary trackage is in use at Wylie and New
Center, necessitated by construction of bridge-work on the Crosstown
Boulevard.   The double-track swings sharply north near the corner of
the Bigelow Apartments, then circles around to rejoin Center in the
middle of the intersection at the bottom of the hill, near the Arena.  
Reports are that several inbound cars got onto the new trackage recently
before it was completed, and became, shall we say, temporarily
stranded."
