"Our plea for contributions of trading stamps didn't fall completely on
deaf ears; we have received 4-books of TV stamps so far.   Any stamps
collected will be used by the Assn. to purchase needed tools and other
equipment for use at Arden.   A snide remark was overheard at the BofD
meeting about future Treasurer's reports:   'We now have $234.56 and a
total of 57,594 trading-stamps!'   Perhaps future car acquisitions could
even be made with stamps.   How many S&H Green Stamps would a New
Orleans car be worth?   School buses can be bought with stamps, why not
trolley cars?"
