I have some color images saved to jpeg of SHJ as well as a couple taken where the
39-Brookline line met the 42/38 line. (Yes, I know the 38 used to use that ramp
before 1964.) I can send these scans six at a time to interested parties. There are
twenty four or so. They date from 1964 to 1970. There are soon to be scrapped 1200s,
dead work cars (high floors and sweepers), a glimpse of M-1267 or M-1276 (whatever
that PCC snowplow was), the Westinghouse test car (the 1400 now at PTM), M-454 and
the yards jammed with cars, anti-climber to anti-climber, after the closure of the
East End lines. There is also a shot of that snarl of wires just past the south
tunnel portal near the passenger shelter that was some sort of contact. Someone was
asking it about several months ago.
Each mailing is 1700 to 1800K so if you want these transmitted to you, I would
suggest cleaning out your mailbox. And find something else to do if your modem is
less than a 56! It may take a while to receive these! :-)
I look forward to "hearing" from those who are interested. These should be easy on
Matt since the files are named by date and the images were taken at a well known
location. ;-) Ken J.
