Ed wrote that trackage to Homewood Shops was available into 1968 however
this is not on the way to Homewood Shops, it's well past Homewood and not
even on the street that went there from Tunnel CH after the east end died
    out.

Trackage was retained to get cars to and from the heavy repair shop at
Homewood. Inasmuch as the trackage in East Liberty was being removed or paved
over for the "rebuilding" of the E. Liberty area, cars could not use the
87/88 tracks (in the E. Liberty area) to get to Homewood CH. The trackage
used to get to Homewood was outbound on the 76 route to Tioga St. Loop,
through the loop and inbound on the 87/88 tracks to Homewood CH.
