[PRCo] Route 55 in East Pittsburgh

I see in Mr. Volkmer's book, a photograph of a route 55 car coming down Beech
Street in East Pittsburgh.   Was that the usual routing for this line?   On the
PRMA map, the loop for route 55 seems to be an off-street one, just a block or two
away from coming into contact with Beech.

I know that particular area has changed quite a bit with the Triboro Expressway
going through there, but I think that before the Triboro, there was an avenue
between Braddock and Linden Avenue....

Anyone?
