I was just looking through some slides I took of Three Rivers Stasium under
construction in 1969-70, and forgot that the Manchester bridge was still in
place in 1970 - in some shots, the north end of the bridge appeared to be
right up to the south wall of the stadium. I believe that the trolley tracks
were still on the bridge at that time, but I'll have to look for close-ups to
confirm this.
