The Corgi Pittsburgh car is a joke.  They actually did r=try to replicate a
roof fan housing but it's too high.  Otherwise the car is a SEPTA 2700, fake
modern divided windows and all.  Cheaper than St Pete by far but you gets
what you pays for, as they say.

Some of the local handbuilders might do better than a St Pete car but it'd
be a stretch.  Dave Haire, the master bus builder ghere in Toronto (he does
streetcars as well) lavishes praise on the St Pete cars everytime I show one
to him.  The official pronouncement from on high is that every new one gets
better tyhan what he's seen before.
