At last I have bothered to take a tour of Ken's Kenosha fantrip 
pictures - previously I had only looked at a couple of the Karla 
ones. A splendid and informative collection.

(Parenthetically, though, could there be anything more evocative 
than that snow-girt night shot from Mike Farrell? Mike was 
apologetic about its being a little blurred, but who cares?)

But back to the fantrip: the picture at

shows 46?? in Cincinnati livery but with what appears to be a broad 
green belt, whereas every picture I've seen of a Cinti PCC shows 
three narrow green stripes. I know they wouldn't have made a 
mistake at Kenosha, so is this an illusion of light and distance?

Cincinnati and Pittsburgh shared a track gauge. Bingo, back on 
topic!

I hope, BTW, that nobody tells Dave Mewhinney his old Kenosha 
pictures are all, save one, of trolleybuses.
