A little more information. WP inadvertently left curve-side 832 off
its official roster or it would have been scrapped. Because of this
oversite, PERC was able to purchase the car. As John has indicated, it
was trucked to Charleroi Car House (don-t know the date--ED???) where it
sat until May--10--1953 when it ran under its own power to Ingram.
There is a photo of 832 on one of the Charleroi high-bridges on pg.4 of
*Trolley Talk* #28, April-1960. This photo was also offered as part of
a color slide set sold by PRMA.

PRCo was quite accommodating to PERC and stored M1 in addition to 3756
and WP832 at Ingram until the museum purchased the present trackage at
County Home Siding on the Washington line. The cars then ran under
their own power from Ingram along West Carson, up through the
Mt.-Washington trolleycar tunnel, out Drake and then along the former
Washington interurban line which remained intact these 6-months of
abandonment. M1 was actually towed by 3756 to the Drake trestle at
which point it actually ran the rest of the way on its own. Car-4393
was a high speed double end low floor car which brought the people back
from Arden.

Pgs.9-10 of PTM *Trolley Fare* has historical information on the
above February trip of 1954 as well as other information about the
founding of the museum.
