[PRCo] 1768 and other Paint Questions

I watched all three TGM tapes last night. I saw 1768 in the PAT Gray scheme with the
rear mounted pantograph. Was this car ever painted in the "Mod scheme"? Or was it
the last to be repainted in the PAT Gray during Early Action and therefore not in
need of a repaint before retirement? Or was it purposely repainted in PAT colors
after being a "Mod car"? For the same reasons 1713 and 1799 (1613) were repainted
in Pittsburgh Railways colors.

I know that four 1700s which were refurbished again during the '80s, but not rebuilt
into 4000s received the "Light Rail White" scheme just like the 4000s had. The
1700s not refurbished seemed to be getting a white over yellow scheme. Was the plan
to phase out the Mod scheme on the remaining unrebuilt 1700s during the late 1980s,
before they were suddenly retired?

I wonder if Leonid is going to offer models of cars such as 1765 with the newer
spotlight, newer pilot and light rail colors? Or a 1980s style 1700 in the white
over yellow? Ken J.
