The "Pittsburgh Transit Information and Guide" (1942) published by Pittsburgh 
Railways Company lists the following:

46-BROWNSVILLE: Downtown to Brownsville and Beltzhoover districts via 
Smithfield St. Bridge, Carson St., New Arlington Ave., Warrington Ave., 
Beltzhoover Ave., Climax St., Gearing St., to Chalfont St.

47-CARRICK VIA TUNNEL (Routing the same as at closure)

44-KNOXVILLE (Routing the same as at closure)

49 (Not Listed in this 1942 guide)
