[PRCo] Trolley Wire Splices & RR guards

HI!
	The bottom left photo on pg.170 of  *PCC From Coast to Coast*  shows an
interesting detail or two.  Note the splices in both wires in almost
identical locations!  There is one of those corrugated poles again and
utilities  *under--ground*  on the bridge!!  Also the Car Stop sign,
typical PRCo fare.  Wonder where that particular sign is now?!?!<GG>

	also, the picture next to it shows the electric fencing around the
trolley wire when negotiating a RR crossing to keep a pole live and
allow the trolleycar to clear the RR.  Note the leaf contactor in the
other wire; appears to be one in the wire that car is on just before the
fencing.  Could be an indicator sent back to the dispatcher to show the
time the last car passed the location.  No single track in this section.
