Very interesting.

I had xerox copies of the pre-war and post-war PCC specs which I gave to Ed 
Lybarger for the PTM archives back in the mid-1980s.  It was on a week-end, 
and on Monday morning Ed gets a phone call from someone at PAT - or maybe 
someone at PAT had called the museum - asking where that could possibly go 
for information on repair of PCC trucks.  Something about torque needed for 
assemblying the wheels (as I vaguely recall).  Seems PAT had tried other 
transit authorities, but none could provide detailed truck/wheel 
information.

As I recall, Ed's reply to the inquire was along the lines of:  "Strange you 
should ask.  I just happen to have in the trunk of my car........."

Sounds like someone could have saved themselves a bit of change - and 
possibly help out PTM - with an inquiry about xeroxing.
