Fred and the list:
Depending upon my schedule, I would be up for a ROW exploration.
I too enjoy visiting the Mountain State. I am sure it is hard for those
who do not live in rural America to understand there are still many places
similar to what you described, even in the Commonwealth this list supports.
(I happen to live in one)
There were more small and medium sized traction entities than large, but
as Ed has reminded us, the large ones had more mileage. I personally like
the ones with a rural setting, they seem to have more character.
There are also a lot of innocent teenagers/young adults out there. We
do not hear of them, but they do exist and often help make their community a
better place to live. Consider Justin Skirbin, Jeff King and some of the
young volunteers at PTM.
See you at the trolley farm where we plant the seeds of knowledge,
fertilize their interests and reap their abilities to help us tell the story
of the electric era..
