Tracie and I both thought she looked rather young. But I never understood the appeal of
posing pretty women with cars, etc. in ads. I mean, are there really men (or boys) stupid
enough to believe some beautiful woman is going to fawn all over them for driving a
certain car or getting drunk with a particular brand of beer?
I don't believe women buy into it, either. I believe in the real (carnal) world, women
look at power, wealth, physical atractiveness, physique and charm when choosing a mate or
an intimate "friend." There is some unknown (to men) formula that allows for any three out
of the five ingredients to allow for the final decision... :-)
If this stuff really worked, Ed Jensen could have tripled PAT's ridership by posing some
knockout bathing beauties in the stairwells of 1457, 1601 or some other notorious "beater"
PCC car of the mid 1960s! ;-) Ken J.
