    Yes, I have seen the video and the pole is bent upwards at a very severe
angle.  The "smoke" that was discussed came from the sides of  the trucks of
a
low-floor car (not a PCC) on Fineview with the trucks seemingly hitting the
dirt piled up by the tracks.
    I will ask Art Ellis the next time I see him.  It was his footage from
the 40's.
