You've given me the opportunity to tag along.  If no one got mad at you for the incline post card message, they can't get mad at me for my incline message that follows :-)

See <http://trolley.dementia.org/incline1960ret.JPG> for a photo that I took from West Carson St. at the base of the Duquesne Incline.  Like my good fortune to be at the North/Arch wye in 1966, I just happened to be passing the Duquesne Incline in late August, 1960 when one of the incline cars derailed.  The police were soon hustling Carson Street traffic past the scene, so I had to grab whatever photos I could, even though I didn't have a telephoto lens along.  Note the fireman climbing up the track to reach the incline car; also note the policeman in the foreground.
