Yeah, true. But we Yanks often elect politicians (who may hold our national
security in their hands) based on which candidate is more physically attractive
or charming.

So to get back on topic, how did an ugly mug like John Dameron ever get
appointed to run a transit agency?  And where did he dig up that Polly-Parrot Ed
Jensen to be his anti-streetcar mouthpiece?
