YES! 1601--1699 were only air cars delivered with wheel-tread shoe
brakes. This class was a blend of air--all--electric both
electromechanically and body styling.
This class car had the extended-range dynamics which faded at 0.75-mph
and then, of course, drums completed the stop and held the car when
stopped.
In body styling, the dash lights add immensely to appearance as does
the wide-band rub rail at floor level. All other PRCo air-cars had a
round, beaded rub rail at floor level.
