Good Morning!!
Thank You, John! Here is a more complete description of the car::
Two photographs of a 1400--series PRCo car from two different sources with the
first one dated June 1947 showing the car on Route 22, while the second is dated
22 February 1947 on Route 85. The car has been called the "Naval Reserve
Car". On the front of the car above the headlight is "U.S.N.R. On the left
and right of the headlight is the phrase: "Keep Your Rate". On the right side
of the car between the doors is written: "Join the NEW Naval reserve".
I don't know the original photographer nor where the prints even came from,
although I am working on the latter.
As I have mentioned on other posts, I have several photographs from several
different sources that appear 100%--identical and do not appear to be copies -
all print with the same clarity! Some photographers were standing awfully
close together to get the same shots and snapped the shutter at the same
identical time. Of course, one of the photos was in winter -- good reason to
stay close!
