One should also note that Westinghouse has since sold off many of its
core businesses ... the Transit Division, for example, went to Adtranz,
then Bombardier.  (If I've got that sequence correct.)  Westinghouse
Electric of today is principally a television station group that may or
may not have started out as Group W Radio stations.  

And General Electric today is a major bank in addition to their other
product line.  To the best of my knowledge, GE still has the Locomotive
and Car operations at 2900 East Lake Road, Erie.
