Yes, our idiot server has decided to change the name "to serve us better".  The fact that it inconveniences the hell out of hundreds of thousands means nothing.  Letterheads need correcting, accounts need updating, and "we're sorry for any inconvenience" rings just a tad hollow.  Now if they were to reduce the monthly fee to what the service is actually worth.....

Allegedly effective November 22, the new eMail addresses are to be

johnfbromley at rogers.com  or

margaretabromley at rogers.com

Still the same high-speed cable internet, they promise (and yet in the same announcement they say it will be better!!).  If it's the same, poor us.

Please change your bookmarked address effective the 22nd.  I'll try to get it done that morning (yes, we must do it, it is not automatic).  Better you don't eMail until the 23rd, if past performance is anything to go on.  Nothing has been said about mail forwarding from the existing address - they probably haven't thought of it - so that may or may not occur.

PLEASE DO NOT PASS THIS INFORMATION TO OTHERS - IT IS ADDRESSED, USING THE bcc FEATURE,  ONLY TO THOSE WHO MAY ACTUALLY NEED IT.
