Ok all you purists!  So what do you think SEPTA should call these new cars?
"PCCnots"?  If the riding, or not so riding public, recognizes them as PCC
cars then they will BE PCC cars.  I doubt that ENEPTA will even try to drive
off ridership by renaming them.  But then if the public doesn't know a PCC
car from a Gomaco car then what does it matter.  

If they re-designate the cars my vote is "ACC" for Air Conditioned Cars, or
is that super glue. . .  By the way are these cars going to be Air
Conditioned the way our 1700 cars were "air conditioned"?

A PCC in the books on PCCs is a PCC because of the controls and trucks ,
not the body !  Even tho the body made it recognizable to the public as
a PCC . [ ie--something new ]
