I recently purchased a large group of prints with negatives. All I know is
the deceased photographer worked for Westinghouse. The seller purchased these
at an estate sale. Car number 1500 was in that group and was also all over
the whole existing system at that time(circa 1964). It seems whatever line
the car was on, they changed the roll sign to that particular route. It was a
fan trip and at least one of the photos was labeled as such. Excuse me, I
just looked at the list. The date was 2/20/65. Routes included on the trip
were 64, 87, 75, 21, 42, 42/38, 38A, and 36. Must have been one fine trip.
