Please note that I did Not say that this did Not happen -- just that I don't have photo
records of it. The 12s were quite popular as trippers on the interurbans --- after
all, 1225, 1230, and 1278 were outfitted with the experimental B3s which were designated
for interurban service (the trucks -- the photo of 1225 by John Froyd is at
Kennywood(:->).)
But from all appearances, there was only a small number of 15s at Tunnel and for a short
period of time.

Yes -- I have photos of 1240 as a Shannon tripper with a temporary front destination
sign of black letters on white! Think Tom Phillips has given us details on the use of
various classes of PCCs used as trippers on the interurbans.
And during County Fair Days when cars to W. Library would operate every couple minutes,
just about anything could be found in service here. 11s, 12s, 14s, etc.
And I have a photo meet of two city 16s at Bon Air during 1951--1953 time frame, in
snow! The one coming toward the photographer is a Shannon tripper; can't see the
northbound destination obviously!(:->)
