Probably Joe Jessel - he ran private charters every two weeks or so,
sometimes more often, from 1964 on,. to photograph as much of the system as
he could before it was abandoned. I was on many of his trips, and ran my
own with 1478 on 21 (two round trips, covered every square inch, it seemed)
and we finished with a rounder on 40 as there was time left over when we
returned to Tunnel. The operator spent half his time in the back seat while
we were on Fineview (don't tell PAT!) - my only experience as motorman in
Pittsburgh - but only between the radio station and Charles St..
