Good Morning!!

	If the date of 1947.06.12 is correct for 5464 crossing Carson ob in
this photo (http://davesrailpix.railfan.net/pitts/htm/kjpgh310.htm) note
that there is NO connection to and from the tunnel and West Carson as
yet and only one connection from the tunnel to eash Carson.

	A double track turn to and from the tunnel and West Carson was
constructed some time after this date which would be just barely 5-years
or so before the 32-P&LE shuttle was discontinued and before the 23-line
was cut back to the 25-Island Avenue terminal!   Bot these cars were
based at SHJ!
