There are also the photos of the train on the first McKinley Viaduct and the
bird's eye view of Castle Shannon - the "Golf Links" shot that shows the
railroad's shops with coaches out front on the one side, and the new
Pittsburgh & Charleroi Electric Railway on the other.

George Hilton authored within the last ten years a rather costly survey
tome on all of the narrow gauge railroads in the United States. Both
the Pittsburgh and Castle Shannon and the Pittsburgh Southern are
included in that book. Photos are limited, if not by availability, then
by the limited interest the line has. I've only seen three pictures ...
the common photo of the train on the hillside south of South Hills
Junction, a builders photo of a locomotive, and an appraisal photo of
Tunnel Carhouse with one of their coaches used as an outbuilding
appearing in the foreground.
