  I too used to have my doubts about God when a disaster like this happens. 
Every human being is blessed with his or her own free will, no matter how 
sinister it may be. That's what makes us all unique. God had no controll over 
the minds of these sick individuals who committed these brutal attacks. I 
have not heard from one of my high school buddies. He worked for Morgan 
Stanley. Some other people on his floor are fine. I am just sick because he  
and his wife just had their first child last November. I am praying very hard 
for all the families and for the missing. This is where God can ease the pain 
by knowing the departed are in a much better place now. I join everyone in 
prayer. I know our great country will survive. Thanks Greg!  GOD BLESS
