It is to be used as a test track for the new and rebuilt cars coming to Port
Authority in the next couple years. Then, if the funding is present, the
line is to be upgraded top light rail standards with possibly a major
terminal (parking and retail included) at the end of the line.

Is Drake going to remain single track, or does PAT plan to upgrade it as

of the stageII project? Sorry Ken. I was told when I was at PTM that PAT
was
going to use it as a test or training line. I took those photos after my
visit to PTM. I guess I jumped to conclusions. My apologies. Still sad to
see
the "S" curve dismantled though. That was my favorite part of the Drake
line.
