	This is the X-Over the cars used to change ends enroute - the on on the
Smithfield St. Bridge was to get to and from the barn before the turns to
the tunnel were put in somehwhere post WW2.

	I have the photo John speaks of where 1000 splits the switch at the
crossover  --  thought they did this purposely as a railfan stunt.   Not in
my album yet so it is in one of the many drawers full of photos waiting for
mounting!
