Of interest to note is the official terminology used by the PAT Instruction
Department for either the left or right side of the car. Bear in mind that my
training instructor (Angelo Nazzo) was a former PRCo operator and training
instructor. Thus, the training was actually PRCo training. PAT could add
nothing except when new technology was introduced. An example of 'new'
technology was the new signal system in the tunnel and along the joint
bus/trolley operation sections. Anyway, the side of the car with the doors
(right side) is the "open" side of the car and the side without doors (left
side) is the "closed" side of the car.
Just a bit of training trivia.
