They built houses in 1960 for $12,500?????  I bought a beat city house
in Lancaster in 1968 ... a row house on East King Street for $13,800;
the neighborhood turned sour two years later and by 1970 it was worth
less than the mortgage!  There were certainly no new houses in this area
for anywhere under $25 to $30 K in 1960.
