Hi Fred,
As you mentioned my name (I'll get you for this, I'll move in next to you
and lower your property value!!!), I guess I have the right to comment.
I can only agree with Fred 1, everything that has come out of SPTC since he
went to resin is just superb, I am the OZ distributor and we are currently
producing the Sydney R class and what a difficult model to produce it was
yet, he still has produced the finest model evr of an Australian tram.
Yes I have powered my 1711, I used an Australian invention this time, called
the Black Beetle, this in no way is a condemnation of Q-Cars fine product,
his work is a joy to behold and he is producing the power trucks for the R
class. I just like to experiment with new things and The Black Beetle has
proved to be another excellent power truck, if anyone is interested, I'll be
happy to expand, you can also go to my Yahhoo list OscaletractionOzstyle and
go to the photo section and see shots of cars with them (Tony Tueli in
Boston has become a large user of them) and read the discussions.
I can hardly wait to see a low floor but my favourite was the DE cars as I
want to do a car in Washington local service.
Cheers
Greg in OZ
