My first reaction in 1961 in Milano was that the critters looked a lot like
narrowed Philly Eighty-hundreds, right down to the green paint and the big
route number signs..  I was later told that they looked like that simply
because the Milano people saw the Philly cars and liked the design!  The last
time I saw them was about two years ago.  I was impressed then that the
operator knew how to run them.  It wasn't a museum type operation.  It was a
pure whiz-bang, I've got a schedule to keep deal.  The parallel points were on
the controller for a purpose.   fws
