The lists that have been officially published for the public usually
list only the dedicated lines. Both the 42-Dormont and 38-Mt.Lebanon
are dedicated lines and are listed, but the OWL of 42/38 co-existed
with the dedicated lines but that is not seen listed -- it is
mentioned in schedules.

We don't see rush hour only lines in published lists as a rule,
either. The 1959 PTM map does list some of these (43-Neeld and
47-Carrick via tunnel) but does not list the 38A extension during the
rush from Clearview to Castle Shannon and this PTM map also does not
list the 42/38 Owl nor any of the other combination owls. The
88-Frankstown Short is not listed.

This would be my first guess on fraction lines that we haven't
otherwise seen.

Believe we had a discussion a while back about the 6/15 where I found a
schedule which listed this as an Owl for a time in the 1950s.

I also have a photo of a PCC with 51-Bon Air, a stub-end line. Think
the photo is the early 1950s so doubt it is a railfan sign. Could it
have been a desire at one time to put a loop out here for Single-Enders?
