	Glad that helped.

I thought about this possibility -- pull-in designations -- but
doubt that usage. Most transit systems maintain that equipment is In
Service immediately upon leaving the yard and should display an
appropriate route-sign. PRCo was no different. But from the early
1950s it was quite common for PRCo equipment to display CAR HOUSE
when returning to the yard and go speeding by intending passengers, esp.
during the rush hour. With trolleycars looping the admin building at
SHJ where Superintendents were on duty, it must have been a practice
accepted by PRCo.

I can only *guess* at this point as to the 27/30 -- this *might*
have been an Owl as well. The 27-line had much prw and much less
density along the prw than along the 30-line, so running the 27/30 Owl
would *seem* more sensible. A check of schedules might reveal such.

However, cars pulling in late at night would still display the standard
destination sign -- This Could be a usage for the 27/30 since the
routing to the yard took the 27 off-line!

Some signs are the results of good plans that never came to fruition
---- have many such here in SF! Trolley coaches (pre-Flyers) had
one for the J-Church rail line which remains rail to this day and was
extended to the yard!~:)
