I am sending this e-mail at 9:25 AM CST on Saturday, Dec. 28.

Mark refers to a photo of 5432 taken opposite the administration Bldg. at
SHJ on 9/9/56.  It has a 61 Murray-Shady sign.
I assume that it was a fantrip, mainly because the car is at SHJ, and I have
other photos of a fantrip taken that day.

The following observation may have been made on this list in the past few
days, but in searching for the route 61 photo, I found photos of  several
route 19 PCCs with three different wording styles:

19 Western Ave.

19 Western-Woods Run

19 Western Avenue
         Brighton


I also noted that for some routes, some signs had a hyphen between the
number and the word, and other signs didn't.
At first pass, I didn't see any correlation between the hyphen/non-hypen
style and car series, carhouse assignment, era, etc.
Maybe it was at the whim of the sign maker...or maybe I need to check the
photos more carefully.
