One of the streets from the Northside crossing Penn ---- I have
written about it before here. Ninty-degree crossing ----
crossings themselves taken out ---- rail on Penn thru and
continuous ---- Rail on cross street butted up against rail on
Penn and slightly higher to allow flange to roll across. Fits the
definition of being unusable for tax(?) or other purposes (OR just saved
wear, tear, maintenance on crossings themselves as it would be rarely
used) but cars could still go across.
Have even seen flangeway of frogs filled in to block use in one
direction but allow use in *used* direction ---- but twas still
possible to use the opposing direction!

But then yahoo should notify the moderator. Moderator did Not ask
for it to be removed ---- it disappeared from yahoo!
