I have the 5th. edition,  "updated and enlarged" in 1999.  Overall size is 
about 9 x 11.5 measuring on the outside of the cover.  The 5th. edition has 
776 pages, while 
the 4th. (1988) has 736, the 3rd. (1980) 672, the 2nd. (1975) 608 and the 
1st. From 1964 has 520 pages.
