My First Edition is 9.5"X12.25" (cover dimensions). It is 1-7/8" thick
(measured from outside surfaces of cover). 520 pages, uncoated paper (like
heavy newsprint). Dust jacket has a painting of downtown,

Third Edition is 8.75"X11.25", and 1.5" thick. 670 pages, printed on coated
(gloss) paper. Dust jacket has a photograph of downtown.

I believe there were at least four printings of the First Edition, and at
least two printings of the Third Edition, so the text and cover dimensions
could have varied slightly among the editions.
