Good Morning!
Then the original by Ed Miller was 1714 heading southbound and
crossing route 88! Saw many an interurban there myself! This
photo is even on Dave's rail pictures - showed up in abpr several
years back - I was really happy to get it in print when I
purchased the PTM calendar!
This interurban -- 1714 -- has quite the history photo
wise. The right rear of the car was caught heading south over
one of the Charleroi high trestles with Monessen in the
background. Again, from the PTM calendar and probably an Ed
Miller photo as well without looking it up.
From another source, I also have a photo of this car northbound
at Monessen Jct. when the car was brand new!
And 1714 is the interurban under the Drake trestle when the
3-Museum cars (M1, 3756, WP832) made their trek to County Home
on 1954.02.07! Quite an interesting car and now one of my
favorites because of its history - don't have any specific
recollection of the car otherwise!
