I know Carl Shultz personally ... I believe he used almost everything he
had that was good in those Pittsburgh tapes. The operative word is
good. Carl is not one to damage his or the photographer's reputation by
selling garbage. He is not noted, praise the Lord, for releasing
everything he can find like so many other purveyors of tapes. My
favorite in that latter category, favored for the curious way it was
titled and not for content, was one titled Train Travel in Germany Made
Simple which went on and on and on for two hours. A ten minute tape on
that very subject would be great for use by travel agents!
Carl also talks about, after he has satiated all of those who "need"
everything (if that is ever possible), to condense it into a 45 minute
tape for the general public and television broadcasting.
