	The car was delivered as pictured but there is a sense to which we can
answer  *Yes*  to your question.

	ALL  PRCo 1200s retained the short round trolley cowl ala 100, 1000--1199
but a longer and wider portion was placed in front of it to scoop in air
for forced-air motor ventilation  --  the 12s were PRCo's first cars with
forced-ventilation.   A transition piece was added between the original
small trolley cowl and the longer portion in front.
	St.Louis Public Service 1500s had a trolley cowl identical to PRCo
1200s.   In fact, SLPS 15s were identical body-wise to PRCo 1200s except
for the front end (in addition to being All-Electric, 50-50-WH-GE, and
operator controls)   ---   even the trolley catcher was above the rear
window!
	I have been told that a group of DCT also had the same but it is quite
often difficult to discern from pictures so I don't know which series in
DC.
	PRCo 1400 and forward arrived with a modification of the above (and 
*most*  other PCCs had something very similar when the longer trolley cowl
was used.)   The short trolley cowl ala 100, 1000--1199 was omitted and the
sides of the long portion were extended back past the trolley base but in
alignment with the front portion.   This would have covered over the
trolley base itself except for a gentle arc cut across the surface in front
of the trolley base.
