Too bad you couldn't make it down here in sunny Florida Fred. Hotter than 
hell Florida is more like it. I could have shown you what most city council 
members call a success. We taxpayers, on the other  hand consider the 
Jacksonville Skyway a waste of money. If anyone is interested, go to this

probably conjure up memories of a failed(thank God) Pittsburgh project. I 
will just say this: the area that the Skyway covers is all "mugger's 
paradise". If I did not have an automobile and had a choice of taking the 
Skyway into town or staying home, I would choose the latter. When I first saw 
the planning for this, my first thought was "Skybus". That should keep this 
somewhat on topic.
